The cult around AD has me pretty scared to review this book if it's not glowing praise, but it's really just okay. I haven't seen anything new or unique, and the things in it are meant to just be copied instead of teaching people the way Janet Arnold's books do. I expect to see a lot of people showing up to events looking so much the same that everyone can immediately just tell who copied right out of this book. It's just too step-by-step directions and not enough teaching readers. My best friend and I spent most of the morning going through her copy that arrived before mine, and her words are less flattering so far, which is kind of my behind-the-scenes experience when talking to people about these books. It really is scary to not sing the praises of this company. I think maybe wait for this one to go on sale or get used copies. My own might go back.
